Adoring Angel 20"
An angel at prayer reminds us that worship did not begin with us. Scripture opens the heavens on a liturgy already in progress, and the adoring angel, kneeling and attentive, brings a small share of that scene down to earth.
The twenty-inch figure stands on a home altar with room for a crucifix between a pair, on the ledge of a Marian grotto, or beside the tabernacle in a chapel where floor-standing angels would crowd the space. Many are bought for a wedding altar and kept afterward at home.
