Nuestra Señora de la Altagracia, Our Lady of High Grace, is the protectress of the Dominican Republic, venerated at her basilica in Higüey since the sixteenth century. Her feast on January 21 is a national holiday, and Dominicans at home and abroad ask her help for their families, their harvests and their health.
At thirty-nine inches she suits a side altar in a parish with a Dominican community, a home chapel, a garden shrine, or a parish hall where the January novena is prayed. Crowns are not included.
Made of a lightweight, durable resin-fiberglass blend and hand-painted by artisans, each statue finished individually. Available in Standard full-color, Fancy full-color with gold detail (indoor), or Monotone finish, sealed for interior or exterior placement.
