Alta Gracia 39"

This 39-inch Our Lady of Altagracia statue (Alta Gracia) honors the Virgin of High Grace, patroness and protectress of the Dominican Republic, whose venerated image has been kept for centuries at Higüey. The traditional image shows Mary contemplating the newborn Christ Child in the manger, with St. Joseph standing behind. Her feast on January 21 is one of the great celebrations of Dominican Catholics, who come to her basilica by the thousands.

At 39 inches it fits a chapel side altar, a parish shrine serving a Dominican community, or a classroom, and it can also be placed in a grotto or courtyard for the January 21 procession.

Does not include crowns.
