On the night of the Nativity one angel spoke and then a multitude sang: Gloria in excelsis Deo. The Angel of Gloria is that herald, the messenger of the shepherds’ field, and its name is the first word of the hymn the Church has sung at Mass ever since.
At forty-nine inches this is a church-size figure: above a parish Nativity, in a sanctuary through the Christmas season, at a school entrance or on a shrine plaza. Parishes often receive one as a memorial gift and bring it out each Advent.
Made of a lightweight, durable resin-fiberglass blend and hand-painted by artisans, each statue finished individually. Available in Standard full-color, Fancy full-color with gold detail (indoor), or Monotone finish, sealed for interior or exterior placement.
