Archangel St. Raphael 18"

This 18-inch Archangel St. Raphael statue honors the angel who, in the Book of Tobit, walked beside young Tobias on his long journey, cured his father Tobit's blindness and freed Sarah so the two could marry. His name means "God heals." Raphael shares the September 29 feast with Michael and Gabriel, and the faithful ask his help as patron of travelers, the sick, physicians and those hoping to find a good spouse.

At 18 inches it rests easily on a home altar, nightstand or shelf, and it makes a thoughtful gift for an engaged couple, a nurse or doctor, or someone setting out on a journey. A sheltered garden corner suits it too.
