Ark of Covenant 16"
This 16-inch Ark of the Covenant statue honors the Blessed Virgin Mary under one of her titles in the Litany of Loreto, Foederis Arca. As the Ark of Israel held the tablets of the Law, the manna and Aaron's rod, Mary carried within her the Word, the Bread of Life and the eternal High Priest. St. Luke draws the parallel at the Visitation, when Elizabeth asks why the mother of her Lord should come to her.
Sized for a home altar, a parish Bible study room or a religious education classroom, it opens conversations on Scripture and makes a thoughtful gift for catechists, converts and students of the faith.
Made from a lightweight, durable resin-fiberglass blend and painted by hand. +++
