Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary 32"
This 32-inch Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary statue depicts Our Lady taken up body and soul into heavenly glory at the end of her earthly life. Pope Pius XII solemnly defined the dogma on November 1, 1950, in Munificentissimus Deus, and the Church celebrates it every August 15 as a holy day of obligation. The Assumption is the fourth Glorious Mystery of the Rosary and a pledge of the hope promised to all the faithful.
Its size suits a church or chapel side altar, a spacious home altar, or a classroom, and it can also stand in a grotto or garden for an August 15 procession.
Finish options: Monotone, Standard Full-Color, Premium Full-Color, and Fancy Full-Color. Monotone and Standard Full-Color are offered for interior or exterior placement; Premium Full-Color and Fancy Full-Color are offered for interior placement only. Made from a lightweight, durable resin-fiberglass blend and painted by hand. +++
