Baby Jesus (#3)
This Baby Jesus (#3) statue presents the Infant Christ, the Word made flesh who was born in poverty at Bethlehem and laid in a manger. Devotion to the Holy Child runs from the first crèche of St. Francis at Greccio to St. Anthony of Padua and St. Thérèse of the Child Jesus. Many families place the Infant in the manger only on Christmas Eve and keep Him on the home altar through the Christmas season, which closes with the Baptism of the Lord.
It suits a home nativity, a church crèche, a home altar, or a classroom Christmas display, and it is a gentle gift for a baptism, a new baby, or a family starting its own Christmas traditions.
Model: Baby Jesus #3.
Made from a lightweight, durable resin-fiberglass blend and painted by hand.
