Blessed Incarnation 8"
This 8-inch Blessed Incarnation statue, known in Spanish as Beata Encarnación, honors a holy woman raised by the Church to the rank of Blessed. Her name recalls the Incarnation, the mystery of the Word made flesh in the womb of the Virgin Mary, which the Church celebrates at the Annunciation on March 25. Beatification is the Church's declaration that a servant of God lived heroic virtue and may be publicly venerated, and the faithful ask such holy ones to intercede for them before God.
Its small scale suits a nightstand, a home altar or a prayer corner, and it makes a thoughtful gift for a woman named Encarnación, a religious sister or a family devoted to her memory.
Made from a lightweight, durable resin-fiberglass blend and painted by hand.
