St. Gregory Hernandez 32"

This 32-inch St. Gregory Hernandez statue honors José Gregorio Hernández (1864–1919), the Venezuelan physician, professor, and daily communicant known as the doctor of the poor, who treated the sick of Caracas without charge. Traditionally pictured in a dark suit and hat, he died after being struck by a car while bringing medicine to a patient. Beatified in 2021 and canonized in 2025, he is invoked by the sick and by doctors.

At 32 inches it suits a hospital chapel, a clinic waiting room, a parish side altar, or a garden shrine, and it is a treasured gift for a new doctor, nurse, or medical-school graduate.
