Calvary Scene

The Calvary Scene is a monumental crucifixion group built around a 12-foot crucifix, recreating the moment in John 19 when Mary and the beloved disciple stood at the foot of the Cross. From the Cross Jesus gave them to one another: "Woman, behold, your son... Behold, your mother." Together the figures of Christ crucified, the Sorrowful Mother and St. John draw the faithful into prayer on the Passion, especially on Fridays, through Lent and on Good Friday.

Its scale is made for parish grounds, a cemetery or mausoleum approach, a retreat center, the front of a church or a large sanctuary wall. It also gives a Good Friday procession a place to end in prayer.

12' tall crucifix with a 6' corpus. 6' Sorrowful Mother. 6' St. John. A similar set is offered with an 8' crucifix and 4' scale size figures.
