Chalice 15
Chalice 15 is an altar chalice for the celebration of Holy Mass, the sacred vessel in which wine becomes the Precious Blood of Christ at the words of consecration. Because it holds the Blood of the Lord, the Church asks that a chalice be made of worthy, noble material and blessed before it is used at the altar. At every Mass it recalls the cup Jesus blessed at the Last Supper: "This is the chalice of my Blood."
It serves a parish sanctuary, a chapel, a seminary, or a mission church. It is a fitting gift for an ordination, a priestly anniversary, or a memorial donation to a parish.
