Chalice 17

Chalice 17 is a chalice for the celebration of Holy Mass, the sacred vessel that receives the wine which becomes the Precious Blood of Christ at the consecration. At the Last Supper the Lord took the cup and said, 'This cup is the new covenant in my blood.' For this reason the Church treats the chalice with the greatest reverence, and it is traditionally blessed before its first use at the altar.

Suited to a parish sanctuary, a chapel, or a convent or seminary altar, it is a traditional gift for an ordination, a priestly anniversary, or a memorial offered to a parish in a loved one's name.
