Chalice 19
The Chalice 19 is a chalice for the altar of sacrifice, made to hold the Precious Blood during the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. In the Roman Canon the priest recalls how Christ “took this precious chalice in his holy and venerable hands,” echoing the Last Supper at every consecration. For a priest, the chalice he uses day after day becomes a companion of his ministry, and many keep the one given at ordination for the rest of their lives.
It is a worthy addition to a parish, cathedral, or monastery sacristy, and a fitting ordination, jubilee, or memorial gift offered in thanksgiving for a priest's years of service.
