Chalice 4

The Chalice 4 is a chalice for the celebration of Holy Mass, the sacred cup that receives the wine which becomes the Precious Blood of Christ at the consecration. It takes its meaning from the Last Supper, when Jesus took the cup and said, This is the chalice of my Blood. Because it holds the Blood of the Lord, a chalice is set apart for sacred use alone, blessed before it first serves at the altar and handled with reverence by priest, deacon and sacristan alike.

It serves the altar of a parish church, chapel or mission, and it is a traditional gift from family and friends to a newly ordained priest or a meaningful memorial offered to a parish.
