Christ the King 88"
This 88-inch Christ the King statue proclaims the kingship of Jesus over hearts, homes and nations. Pope Pius XI instituted the feast in 1925 with his encyclical Quas Primas, and today the Solemnity of Our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe, closes the liturgical year on the last Sunday before Advent. Images of Christ the King traditionally present Him in royal majesty: the Lord whose throne is the Cross and whose kingdom is one of truth and life, holiness and grace, justice, love and peace.
A figure of this scale belongs where a whole parish will see it: the sanctuary, a church entrance, the parish grounds, a cemetery or a school courtyard. It makes a lasting gift for a church anniversary or a new parish campus.
Finish options: Monotone, Standard Full-Color, Premium Full-Color, and Fancy Full-Color. Monotone and Standard Full-Color are offered for interior or exterior placement; Premium Full-Color and Fancy Full-Color are offered for interior placement only. Made from a lightweight, durable resin-fiberglass blend and painted by hand.
