Corpus 84"

This 84-inch Corpus depicts the body of Christ crucified, the image the Church places at the very center of her worship. St. Paul resolved to know nothing 'except Jesus Christ, and him crucified,' and the Church asks that a crucifix stand on or near the altar at every Mass so the faithful see the sacrifice made present there. A corpus of this size fixes every eye on the Son of God who loved us and gave Himself for us, by whose wounds we are healed.

A corpus of this scale suits a church sanctuary, the wall above a high altar, a church entrance, the parish grounds or the Calvary at the center of a Catholic cemetery.
