Crucifix 47" Pope JPII
This 47-inch Pope John Paul II crucifix follows a style associated with St. John Paul II, the Polish pontiff who led the Church from 1978 to 2005 and so often carried a crucifix on his pastoral staff before the crowds. He taught that the Cross reveals the full measure of God's love, and he died on the vigil of Divine Mercy Sunday. For many parishes this crucifix recalls his witness of suffering offered in union with Christ.
At 47 inches it suits a chapel wall, a side altar, a classroom, or a parish meeting room. It is also a meaningful gift for a school or youth ministry named for St. John Paul II.
Made from a lightweight, durable resin-fiberglass blend and painted by hand.
