Crucifix 48" Modern

This 48-inch modern crucifix presents Christ on the Cross in a contemporary style, keeping the sacrifice of Calvary at the center of prayer while suiting newer church architecture. Every crucifix proclaims what St. Paul called the heart of the Gospel: "We preach Christ crucified." The Church asks that a cross bearing the figure of Christ stand on or near the altar at Mass, and in homes and classrooms the crucifix reminds the faithful that suffering joined to His becomes redemptive.

At 48 inches it is suited to a chapel sanctuary, a side altar wall, a Catholic school hallway, a retreat center or a meeting room, and can also be mounted at an outdoor prayer space or grotto on parish grounds.
