Crucifix 87"

This 87-inch crucifix places before the faithful the central mystery of our redemption: Christ crucified, who loved us and gave Himself up for us. The crucifix is the sign the Church sets on or near every altar at Mass, so that priest and people see the one Sacrifice of Calvary made present. Its corpus conveys both the suffering of the Passion and the dignity of the Son who offered Himself freely to the Father for the salvation of the world.

At this height it serves as a sanctuary crucifix or a focal point at a church entrance. Outdoors it is well suited to a cemetery, a calvary on parish grounds, or a retreat center where pilgrims pray the Stations.

The cross is 87 inches. The corpus is 47 inches.
