Crucifix 94" (classic)

This 94-inch classic crucifix presents Christ crucified in the traditional form the Church has held before the faithful for centuries, the sign of the One who "emptied himself" and became obedient "even to death on a cross." The Roman Missal asks that a cross bearing the figure of Christ crucified stand on or near the altar, clearly visible to the people, so that the saving Passion is recalled at every Mass. On Good Friday the faithful come forward to venerate it.

At nearly eight feet it is proportioned for a sanctuary wall, a church entrance, a mausoleum, a cemetery or the parish grounds, where it can be seen from a distance and draw the passerby to prayer.
