Custodian 3
The Custodian 3 is a monstrance, known in Spanish as a custodia, made to expose the consecrated Host for adoration by the faithful. The word monstrance comes from the Latin monstrare, to show, and the vessel developed as the feast of Corpus Christi spread through the Church in the thirteenth century. Set upon the altar with the Sacred Host enthroned at its center, it draws every gaze to the Real Presence of Christ during Exposition and Benediction.
Use it for Eucharistic adoration, Holy Hours, Benediction and Corpus Christi processions in a parish church, an adoration chapel, a convent or a seminary chapel.
