Custodian 5 - 48
The Custodian 5 - 48 is a monstrance, the ceremonial vessel that presents the consecrated Host for adoration; its name comes from the Latin monstrare, 'to show.' Placed on the altar during Exposition, it turns the eyes of the faithful to Jesus truly present, Body, Blood, soul, and divinity. It serves the Church's great moments of Eucharistic worship: Holy Hours, Forty Hours, Benediction, and the Solemnity of Corpus Christi.
Suited to a cathedral or parish church, a perpetual adoration chapel, a religious community, or a Eucharistic congress, it gives priests and sacristans a dignified vessel for public adoration.
