Custodian 7
The Custodian 7 is a custodia, as a monstrance is called in Spanish, the sacred vessel in which the consecrated Host is displayed for adoration and Benediction. The word monstrance comes from the Latin monstrare, 'to show,' for it shows the faithful the Real Presence of Christ. Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament grew after the feast of Corpus Christi was established in the thirteenth century, and Eucharistic adoration still draws parishes to pray before the Lord.
Intended for an adoration chapel, a parish sanctuary, or a convent or seminary chapel, it serves Holy Hours, Benediction, Corpus Christi processions, and perpetual adoration.
