Don Bosco 33" with children

This 33-inch Don Bosco with children statue shows St. John Bosco, the priest of Turin (1815–1888) who gathered poor and abandoned boys, taught them trades, and led them to Christ through reason, religion, and loving kindness. Founder of the Salesians of Don Bosco and, with St. Mary Mazzarello, of the Salesian Sisters, he is patron of youth, students, and apprentices. His feast is celebrated on January 31.

A natural centerpiece for a Catholic school entrance hall, a classroom, a youth ministry room, or a Salesian chapel, it also fits a sheltered grotto on a school campus.
