Don Bosco 47"

This 47-inch Don Bosco statue honors St. John Bosco, the Italian priest who turned the streets of nineteenth-century Turin into a mission field, founding oratories, schools, and workshops for poor boys. His preventive system of education rested on reason, religion, and loving kindness, and he entrusted all his work to Mary Help of Christians. Canonized in 1934, he is patron of youth, editors, and stage magicians; his feast is January 31.

At 47 inches it suits a school lobby, a chapel, a side altar, a youth center, or a garden grotto on a Salesian campus, and it is a fitting way for a school to honor its teachers and youth ministers.
