Our Lady of Fatima appeared to three shepherd children, Lucia, Francisco and Jacinta, on the thirteenth of each month from May to October 1917, asking for the Rosary, penance and devotion to her Immaculate Heart. This 10-inch group sets the three children at her feet, as they knelt in the Cova da Iria. Her feast is May 13.
Ten inches with the shepherds is a home piece: a family altar, a child's room, a classroom prayer corner or a religious education office. It is the Fatima statue given at a First Communion, since two of the three children are now saints, and one of them younger than the child receiving it.
Made of a lightweight, durable resin-fiberglass blend and hand-painted by artisans, each statue finished individually.
