Garabandal

The Garabandal statue represents Our Lady of Mount Carmel as she was described in the reported apparitions at San Sebastián de Garabandal, a mountain village in northern Spain, between 1961 and 1965. Four young girls said the Virgin came to them there, calling people to prayer, penance, frequent Confession and devotion to the Eucharist. The Church has not confirmed the apparitions as supernatural, and those drawn to the message honor Mary under her title of Mount Carmel, whose feast is July 16.

It suits a Marian side altar, a chapel or a prayer group's meeting room, and it can also be placed in a garden grotto or courtyard where the Rosary and the Brown Scapular devotion are kept.
