Good Shepherd 13"
Among the earliest ways Christians portrayed Our Lord, the Good Shepherd appears in this 13-inch statue as the one who knows His sheep and calls each by name. In the tenth chapter of John, Jesus declares that the good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep, and in Luke He tells of leaving the ninety-nine to seek the one that strayed. The image comforts all who have wandered and all who pray for someone far from God.
At 13 inches it suits a child's room, a home altar, or a catechist's classroom table. It is a warm gift for a baptism, a First Communion, or a priest celebrating an anniversary of ordination.
Made from a lightweight, durable resin-fiberglass blend and painted by hand.
