Good Shepherd 28"
This 28-inch Good Shepherd statue shows Christ as He described Himself in St. John's Gospel: "I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep." It is among the oldest images of Our Lord, painted on the walls of the Roman catacombs, and it traditionally shows Him carrying the lost sheep He left the ninety-nine to find. The Fourth Sunday of Easter is Good Shepherd Sunday, when the Church prays for vocations to the priesthood.
At 28 inches, it suits a side altar, a rectory, a seminary, or a religious education classroom, makes a fitting ordination gift, and is a natural choice for a garden shrine, a grotto, or a memorial garden.
Finish options: Monotone, Standard Full-Color, and Premium Full-Color. Monotone and Standard Full-Color are offered for interior or exterior placement; Premium Full-Color is offered for interior placement only. Made from a lightweight, durable resin-fiberglass blend and painted by hand. +++
