Good Shepherd 36" plaque

This 36-inch Good Shepherd plaque portrays Christ as He described Himself in the Gospel of John: “I am the good shepherd. A good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.” From the catacombs of Rome onward, Christians have pictured the Lord as the shepherd who seeks the lost and carries them home, and the Church keeps Good Shepherd Sunday on the Fourth Sunday of Easter as a day of prayer for vocations. Priests, catechists, and parents alike take comfort from this image.

A plaque of this size suits a chapel wall, a rectory entrance, a classroom, or a vocations office, and it can hang on a garden wall or in an outdoor grotto where the flock gathers to pray.
