Hearts of Mary & Jesus

Two Hearts, side by side: the Sacred Heart of Jesus, crowned with thorns and aflame, and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, pierced by the sword Simeon foretold and wreathed in roses. The Church keeps their feasts on consecutive days in June, Friday and Saturday, and Fatima joined the two devotions for good.

The Hearts of Mary and Jesus statue goes in the home first: a family altar, a bedroom wall shelf, the room where the household is consecrated to the Two Hearts. Parishes place it in an adoration chapel or, in the exterior finish, a garden shrine.
