Mary Help of Christians 12"
A 12-inch Mary Help of Christians statue honors the title Auxilium Christianorum, invoked by Christians after the victory at Lepanto in 1571 and confirmed when Pope Pius VII instituted her feast on May 24 after his release from captivity under Napoleon. St. John Bosco made her the patroness of the Salesians and built her basilica in Turin, saying, "She built it herself." She is also patroness of Australia.
At 12 inches, she suits a home altar, a student's desk, or a classroom shelf. She is a fitting gift for a Salesian school graduate, a Confirmation candidate, or a family in trial.
The Mary Help of Christians statue measures 12".
Made from a lightweight, durable resin-fiberglass blend and painted by hand.
