Mary Help of Christians 18"
Mary Help of Christians is honored in this 18-inch statue as the powerful Mother who comes to the aid of the Church and of every believer in need. Invoked as Auxilium Christianorum in the Litany of Loreto, she was the heavenly guide of St. John Bosco, who built the Basilica of Mary Help of Christians in Turin in her honor. Her feast on May 24 is a great day for Salesian schools and parishes, and she is also the patroness of Australia.
Sized for a home altar, dresser or classroom shelf, it is a lovely gift for a graduate of a Salesian school, a Confirmation candidate or a family seeking Mary's protection.
Made from a lightweight, durable resin-fiberglass blend and painted by hand.
