Mary Help of Christians 25" fancy
Mary Help of Christians, honored in this 25-inch statue, is the title under which the Church has called on the Mother of God in times of danger and trial. The invocation appears in the Litany of Loreto, and Pope Pius VII set her feast on May 24 in thanksgiving after his release from captivity under Napoleon. St. John Bosco made her the patroness of his Salesian family and spread her devotion worldwide.
At 25 inches she suits a small chapel, a convent parlor, or a family's home oratory where she can watch over the household, and she is a gracious gift for a Salesian priest or sister.
Made from a lightweight, durable resin-fiberglass blend and painted by hand. +++
