Mary Help of Christians 33"
This 33-inch Mary Help of Christians statue honors the Blessed Mother under the title Auxilium Christianorum, invoked for centuries when the Church faced danger. Pope Pius VII set her feast on May 24 in thanksgiving for his return to Rome after captivity under Napoleon, and St. John Bosco made the devotion the heart of the Salesian family. Traditional images present Mary crowned as Queen and holding the Christ Child, and the faithful ask her protection for families, young people and the whole Church.
At 33 inches she suits a parish chapel, a side altar or a Catholic school classroom, and she is a natural choice for Salesian schools, youth ministries and parishes dedicated to Mary Help of Christians.
Made from a lightweight, durable resin-fiberglass blend and painted by hand. +++
