Holy Face of Jesus Christ bust 8"
This 8-inch Holy Face of Jesus Christ bust invites a quiet, face-to-face encounter with Our Lord's suffering and mercy. Devotion to the Holy Face grew from the memory of Veronica's veil and was spread in the nineteenth century by Sister Marie of St. Peter, a Carmelite of Tours. St. Therese of Lisieux took the religious name 'of the Child Jesus and the Holy Face.' Through veneration of His sacred image, we are called to reflect His presence in our own lives and share His peace with the world.
Its compact size suits a home altar, a desk, a bedside shelf or a prayer corner. It is a thoughtful gift for Lent, for a priest, or for anyone devoted to prayers of reparation.
Made from a lightweight, durable resin-fiberglass blend and painted by hand. +++
