Holy Infant Mary with dress 16"
This 16-inch Holy Infant Mary statue honors the Blessed Virgin as a newborn child, the devotion known in Italy as Maria Bambina. It celebrates the birth of the one God prepared to be the Mother of His Son, a joy the Church keeps on September 8, the Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The devotion centers on a much-loved image in Milan, and families pray to the Holy Infant Mary for children and for humility of heart.
Sized for a home altar, nursery shelf or prayer corner, it is a sweet gift for a baby girl's baptism, a young mother, or a family keeping Our Lady's birthday on September 8.
Comes with a dress.
Made from a lightweight, durable resin-fiberglass blend and painted by hand. +++
