Infant of Prague 24"

This 24-inch Infant of Prague statue presents the Child Jesus as King, the devotion that has drawn pilgrims to the Church of Our Lady Victorious in Prague for nearly four centuries. In 1628 Princess Polyxena of Lobkowicz gave the original image to the Discalced Carmelites there, and Fr. Cyril of the Mother of God spread its promise: The more you honor me, the more I will bless you. Traditionally the Child raises His right hand in blessing and holds a globe topped by a cross in His left.

At 24 inches it fits a home altar, a nursery shelf or a prayer corner, and it is a cherished gift for a baptism, a family consecration or anyone asking the Child King for help in need.

Shown in traditional robes and crown.
