Divine Mercy 12"
This 12-inch Divine Mercy statue presents Jesus of Mercy as He appeared to St. Faustina Kowalska in Poland in 1931, His right hand raised in blessing and two rays, one pale and one red, streaming from His Heart. Jesus asked that the image carry the words "Jesus, I trust in You," and the Church keeps Divine Mercy Sunday on the Sunday after Easter. The faithful turn to this image with the Chaplet of Divine Mercy and at the three o'clock Hour of Mercy.
At 12 inches, it sits comfortably on a home altar, bookshelf, or bedside table where the Chaplet is prayed. It is a fitting gift for a Confirmation, a new home, or a family keeping vigil for a loved one.
The Jesus of Mercy statue measures 12".
Made from a lightweight, durable resin-fiberglass blend and painted by hand. +++
