La Leche 50"

This 50-inch Our Lady of La Leche statue honors Nuestra Señora de la Leche y Buen Parto, Our Lady of the Milk and Happy Delivery, who is shown nursing the infant Jesus. Spanish settlers brought the devotion to St. Augustine, Florida, where her shrine at the Mission of Nombre de Dios is counted among the oldest Marian shrines in the United States. Mothers, expectant mothers, and couples hoping for a child ask her intercession for a safe delivery and healthy children.

At this scale she can preside over a sanctuary, a church entrance, a Catholic hospital chapel, or a shrine on parish grounds where families come to pray for their children.
