Lady of Good Success 14"
This 14-inch Our Lady of Good Success statue honors the Mother of God under the title she took in apparitions to Mother Mariana de Jesús Torres, a Conceptionist nun in Quito, in the late sixteenth and early seventeenth centuries. Our Lady asked that a statue be made in her likeness to govern the convent as its abbess, and she spoke of trials the Church would face in later ages. The faithful turn to her for protection, for fidelity and, especially mothers, for a safe delivery.
Sized for a home altar or a prayer shelf, she is a meaningful gift for a Confirmation, a housewarming, a birthday or an anniversary, and a comforting presence wherever a family gathers to pray.
Stands 14 inches tall.
Made from a lightweight, durable resin-fiberglass blend and painted by hand. +++
