Our Lady of Hope 17"/ Pregnant Madonna
This 17-inch Our Lady of Hope statue, also known as the Pregnant Madonna, shows the Virgin Mary expecting the birth of her Son. It turns the heart to the months between the Annunciation and Christmas, when Mary carried the Word made flesh, hurried to serve her cousin Elizabeth and sang her Magnificat. Advent is her season of hope, and expectant mothers, couples hoping for children and families praying for the unborn find in her a gentle companion and a sign of faith, hope and maternal love.
At 17 inches it rests easily in a nursery, on a home altar or on a bedside table, and it is a meaningful gift for a grandmother, a newlywed couple or an expectant mother.
Our Lady of Hope is also known as the Pregnant Madonna.
Made from a lightweight, durable resin-fiberglass blend and painted by hand. +++
