On the evening of August 21, 1879, fifteen people in Knock, County Mayo, saw Our Lady at the gable of their parish church with St. Joseph and St. John the Evangelist beside her. She said nothing. She wore white with a gold crown, her hands raised in prayer, and that silent figure is the Our Lady of Knock the Irish have carried around the world.
This thirty-five-inch statue is sized for a grotto, a garden, a side chapel or the hall of a school with Irish roots, and for a memorial garden.
Can be painted in full color, or in all white with gold crown like the original. Made of a lightweight, durable resin-fiberglass blend and hand-painted by artisans, each statue finished individually.
