Our Lady of Lourdes 66" fancy
The 66-inch Our Lady of Lourdes in the Fancy decorative pearlized finish: the white gown given a pearl sheen, gold on the sash, the rosary and the roses at her feet. The figure is the Virgin of Massabielle, hands joined, eyes lifted, as she stood in the rock niche above the river for eighteen apparitions in 1858 and named herself the Immaculate Conception. The sick and their caregivers ask her intercession.
At five and a half feet this is an indoor sanctuary statue for a Lady chapel, a hospital chapel, a shrine church or a large convent oratory, where the pearlized finish catches candlelight.
Made of a lightweight, durable resin-fiberglass blend and hand-painted by artisans, each statue finished individually. The Fancy pearlized finish is intended for interior placement.
