Mother Cabrini 60" relief
This 60-inch Mother Cabrini relief portrays St. Frances Xavier Cabrini, the Italian-born foundress of the Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, who crossed the Atlantic in 1889 to serve Italian immigrants in New York. She opened schools, orphanages, and hospitals across the United States and beyond, became an American citizen, and in 1946 was the first U.S. citizen canonized. Patroness of immigrants, she is honored in the United States on November 13.
Sculpted in relief, this large panel suits a church wall, a narthex, a hospital chapel, or the outer wall of a school or parish building that serves immigrant families.
Relief-style statue.
