Mt. Carmel 27"
This 27-inch Our Lady of Mount Carmel statue honors Mary under the title given her by the Carmelites, the hermits who first gathered on Mount Carmel in the Holy Land, where the prophet Elijah had prayed. Carmelite tradition holds that in 1251 she gave the Brown Scapular to St. Simon Stock as a pledge of her protection. Her feast on July 16 is kept throughout the Church, and scapular wearers look to her for help at the hour of death.
A 27-inch figure fits a side altar, a Carmelite or parish chapel, or a classroom where children are enrolled in the Brown Scapular, and it is equally at home in a garden grotto or backyard shrine.
Finish options: Monotone, Standard Full-Color, and Fancy Full-Color. Monotone and Standard Full-Color are offered for interior or exterior placement; Fancy Full-Color is offered for interior placement only. Made from a lightweight, durable resin-fiberglass blend and painted by hand. +++
