Our Lady of Mt. Carmel 33"

This 33-inch Our Lady of Mt. Carmel statue honors the Blessed Virgin as patroness of the Carmelite Order, whose roots lie with hermits on Mount Carmel in the Holy Land. Tradition holds that in 1251 she gave the Brown Scapular to St. Simon Stock as a sign of her protection for all who wear it faithfully. She is shown with the Christ Child, and her feast is celebrated on July 16.

At 33 inches, she suits a chapel, a Carmelite monastery, a side altar, or a classroom. Outdoors, she can preside over a grotto or a Marian garden, especially for July processions.
