Our Lady of America 21"
This 21-inch Our Lady of America statue represents the Blessed Virgin as she presented herself to Sister Mildred Mary Neuzil, a Sister of the Precious Blood, beginning in 1956 in Rome City, Indiana. Calling herself Our Lady of America, the Immaculate Virgin, she called the nation to purity of life and asked that her image be honored in the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington. Paul Leibold, later Archbishop of Cincinnati, granted his imprimatur to the devotion's prayers and medal.
Scaled for a home altar, a parish shrine table or a Catholic school classroom, it is a fitting centerpiece for a family consecration or for Marian prayer on national holidays.
Stands 21" tall to the top of the crown. The crown is permanently part of the statue and is not metal.
Made from a lightweight, durable resin-fiberglass blend and painted by hand. +++
