Our Lady of Hope Pontmain 50"

This 50-inch Our Lady of Hope of Pontmain statue honors the Blessed Mother as she appeared to the children of a small village in western France on January 17, 1871. For about three hours she remained in the night sky, clothed in blue and crowned, while the villagers prayed the rosary and sang hymns below. Her message, 'But pray, my children,' promised that God would soon answer, and the invading army turned back. Pontmain's basilica still draws pilgrims who ask her for hope in dark times.

At 50 inches she suits a church sanctuary or entrance, a school courtyard or parish grounds. She is also a fine choice for a Marian grotto or a cemetery, especially where families pray for peace and for the safe return of loved ones.

Finish options: Monotone and Standard Full-Color. Each finish is offered in an interior or an exterior version. Made from a lightweight, durable resin-fiberglass blend and painted by hand.
