Our Lady of Hope Pontmain 50"

On the evening of January 17, 1871, with Prussian troops a few miles from Pontmain, the village children saw a tall woman in a dark blue gown covered with gold stars, smiling down at them while a banner unrolled beneath her feet: "But pray, my children. God will hear you in a little while." The army halted that night. She is asked for peace and for courage in war and sickness.

Fifty inches is a sanctuary or church-entrance statue, and it suits a side chapel, a school named for Our Lady of Hope, or a garden pedestal.
