Our Lady of Sorrows 30" plaque

This 30-inch Our Lady of Sorrows plaque honors the Mother who stood beneath the Cross, fulfilling Simeon's prophecy that a sword would pierce her soul. The Church meditates on her Seven Sorrows, from the flight into Egypt to the burial of Jesus, and keeps her memorial on September 15, the day after the Exaltation of the Holy Cross. The Servite Order has spread this devotion for centuries. Those who grieve, who suffer with a child, or who keep vigil at a deathbed find in her a companion.

The plaque suits a chapel wall, a side altar, a bereavement room, or a classroom during Lent, and it can be mounted in an outdoor grotto or near a cemetery chapel.
